The Blount County Sheriffs Office wrapped up a two day child exploitation sting this week arresting five individuals for charges of Human Trafficking, Electronic Solicitation, and Traveling to Meet a Child to perform a sexual act. Also one individual brought a significant amount of marijuana and was charged with Unlawful Possession of Marijuana 2nd. Miguel Molina-Vazquez, Eric Lee, Yeison Benitez-Morales, Garson Lopez,and Henry Lopez all showed up to the location of the sting operation and were arrested on the spot.

Sheriff Moon has sent multiple deputies to training for the purpose of these type of investigations. During one of those trainings one deputy was able to begin a chat log with multiple individuals while still in the training class. That deputy continued the conversations online with the predators and was able to convince Gregory Riley to drive to a meet up location where he was arrested on site.

These type of investigations are very crucial to the war that has been waged on the innocents of our children and have produced 13 arrests in three separate sting operations to date on predators seeking after sex with children.
